In 2025, Miral is set to significantly transform Abu Dhabi’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E) sector through a series of strategic initiatives. Building on its collaboration in 2022 with the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB), which created the Joint Business Event Fund aimed at attracting high-profile business events, Miral is enhancing Yas Island’s reputation as a leading M.I.C.E destination.

Yas Island is emerging as a notable “bleisure” hub, seamlessly blending business and leisure activities. It boasts world-class attractions such as Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World™ Abu Dhabi, along with advanced venues like the Etihad Arena. Luxury accommodations, including the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, make it convenient for M.I.C.E delegates to enjoy both work and relaxation.
To support M.I.C.E groups, Miral provides attractive financial incentives, including the “Yas Island 7.5” program, which offers a 7.5% rebate on pre-approved spending for groups exceeding 500 attendees. Furthermore, ADCEB collaborates with Miral to give an additional AED 100 per delegate for eligible groups, positioning Yas Island as a cost-effective venue for large-scale events.
Miral is also incorporating innovative technology to enhance the M.I.C.E experience. One such advancement is the FacePass system, which uses facial recognition technology for contactless entry and payments at Yas Island’s attractions. This feature aims to provide tech-savvy business travelers with added convenience during their visits.
In an exciting partnership with e& enterprise, Miral is developing a metaverse project for Yas Island. This virtual initiative will offer potential M.I.C.E clients and visitors a detailed 3D map of the island, allowing them to digitally explore venues and attractions before making actual commitments. This innovative approach is expected to revolutionize the planning of business events, providing an immersive preview of what Yas Island has to offer.
Miral has gained recognition for its sustainability efforts, being included in the Middle East Sustainable 100. This aligns with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategy. Noteworthy initiatives include the installation of the largest rooftop solar project in the region at Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, which generates up to 64% of the theme park’s electricity needs during peak periods. These sustainability efforts are designed to appeal to eco-conscious organizations looking to host responsible events.
As the M.I.C.E sector evolves, Miral is establishing itself as a leader in innovation. With its forward-thinking strategies and investments in state-of-the-art facilities, Miral is poised to play a critical role in shaping the future of corporate events in the Middle East.
