The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has announced the launch of a new instalment service aimed at easing the financial burden of litigation fees, notary services, and lawyer expenses for residents in the Abu Dhabi emirate. This initiative is part of ADJD’s ongoing efforts to improve the payment mechanisms for judicial fees and is set to position Abu Dhabi Courts as a leader in the region by providing flexible financing solutions in partnership with banks and financing companies.

His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, emphasized that the introduction of this service demonstrates the department’s dedication to ensuring prompt justice through streamlined procedures. The service is designed to alleviate financial pressures on litigants, aligning with ADJD’s objective to develop top-tier judicial services that enhance Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness in both economic and legal spheres.
The newly launched service allows litigants to settle court fees and access ADJD services, as well as pay for lawyers, experts, notary services, and enforcement costs, through manageable instalments. Under this arrangement, the financing company or bank will cover the full amount due to ADJD or the lawyer on behalf of the litigant, who will then repay this amount in monthly instalments, which could be interest-free or subject to simple interest, over a period of 12 months or less, depending on the agreement in place.
