VERSES AI Transitions Analog to Genius Enterprise Following Successful UAE Pilot

VERSES AI Inc. has announced the conversion of Analog to a Genius Enterprise license after a successful pilot project in smart city mobility conducted in the UAE. The Vancouver-based cognitive computing company specializes in advanced software systems and has been collaborating with Analog, a physical intelligence firm founded by Alex Kipman. This partnership aims to enhance smart city projects by utilizing Genius, VERSES’ Agentic Intelligence engine.

During the pilot, Genius analyzed historical ride-sharing and traffic data from two major international cities, which helped improve fleet operational efficiency. The pilot demonstrated a remarkable 32% increase in completed rides, indicating that a single fleet operator with 400 active vehicles could potentially boost annual revenues by $16 million. The Genius orchestration algorithm achieved this by advising on fleet management strategies that allowed drivers to complete more trips, thus reducing empty mileage and idle time.

With the pilot now completed, VERSES and Analog are set to explore new projects that will leverage Genius agents for higher-value smart city initiatives. These projects will address urban challenges such as energy management, logistics, and the deployment of autonomous inspection robots. The collaboration will enable Genius to be integrated into Analog’s secure edge infrastructure, allowing for near-real-time decision-making while maintaining data control. This setup showcases Genius’ capability for local hosting in the UAE, facilitating local testing and deployment.

Alex Kipman, Founder & CEO of Analog, emphasized the importance of adapting and integrating intelligence into everyday life. He noted that Genius has proven its ability to manage complexity and respond creatively to real-world challenges. Gabriel René, Founder & CEO of VERSES, also highlighted the substantial investments in smart cities, particularly in the Middle East, and recognized Analog’s role in driving this progress. He stated that fleets of autonomous vehicles and various sensors will require coordinated efforts, which current AI solutions do not adequately address.
