Saudi Arabia is experiencing a significant digital transformation in its internet sector, according to a new report from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST). The report reveals that 21.5 percent of internet users in the Kingdom actively utilize various artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

Among these users, the age group of 20 to 29 years shows the highest engagement, with a usage rate of 27.3 percent. This statistic indicates a strong awareness among young adults regarding the impact of modern technologies on enhancing quality of life in professional, educational, and entertainment settings.

The CST report emphasizes that the adoption of AI in Saudi Arabia is bolstered by the availability of various applications, including smart translation, virtual assistants, content generation, and data analysis. This widespread use of AI tools reinforces Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional hub for innovation and digital transformation.
