Dominic Carr, the Chief Information Officer at Rotana, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. He stated that the right tools are essential for their management and associates to achieve their goals. Carr highlighted that OPERA Cloud provides a modern, secure platform that centralizes support and maintains consistency across all Rotana properties, from setting up new locations to daily management. This cloud-based solution will allow Rotana to stay ahead in terms of innovation and meeting guest expectations.

With the integration of OPERA Cloud, Rotana gains the flexibility to adapt to market changes and scale its operations effectively. The platform provides staff with a comprehensive view of each guest’s preferences, including details about on-site dining and loyalty programs. This intelligence allows staff to offer personalized service to the six million guests who visit Rotana hotels annually, regardless of which property they choose.

Furthermore, the mobile capabilities of OPERA Cloud enable staff to interact with guests throughout the property, improving various operations, including check-in, housekeeping, and maintenance tasks. Rotana also plans to leverage the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) to integrate existing internal applications and third-party solutions from regional providers, allowing for quick delivery of innovative functionalities that support business operations.

David Meltzer, senior vice president of Oracle Hospitality Global Sales, remarked on the importance of technology in fulfilling Rotana’s promise of providing guests with a “Treasured Time” experience across its global properties. He noted that with Oracle’s secure, modern hospitality platform, Rotana can harness data intelligence for operational excellence, enhancing the experience for both visitors and the staff who assist them.
