The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor stated that these measures aim to ensure the integrity of the hiring process and to prevent the employment of individuals who may pose a risk to public safety. Employers will be required to demonstrate compliance with these security checks to avoid facing significant penalties.

In addition, the Kuwaiti government is cracking down on undocumented pilgrims, with violators facing hefty penalties. This initiative reflects Kuwait’s commitment to maintaining order and legality within its labor market and immigration policies.
