The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation. This agreement was made during the official visit of Igor Krasnov, the Prosecutor-General of Russia, to the UAE.

The MoU aims to enhance frameworks for bilateral cooperation that support the strategic partnership between the two nations. It was signed by Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority, alongside Igor Krasnov at the authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
This agreement focuses on integrity and anti-corruption initiatives, aiming to advance cooperation between the two countries. It emphasizes the exchange of expertise, development of institutional capacities, and broadening the partnership within international forums to foster a global culture of transparency and accountability.
The UAE Accountability Authority stated that this initiative aligns with the UAE’s strategic directions and reflects the vision of its leadership, which prioritizes transparency and anti-corruption in governance. The authority also highlighted the importance of learning from international best practices, including those from Russia in this domain.
