Dubai has introduced a new online platform named ‘Amanah’ that allows residents to report any suspicious or illegal activities related to Dubai Municipality’s services. This initiative was announced by Dubai Municipality as part of its commitment to enhance transparency, governance, and public safety while ensuring that those who submit reports can do so confidentially

The ‘Amanah’ platform serves as a secure and smart channel for residents to flag any unlawful behavior that may affect civic affairs. It features a user-friendly interface where individuals can express their concerns through a dedicated section on the municipality’s website at amanah.dm.gov.ae. All reports submitted through this platform will be handled with “neutrality and reliability,” according to officials.
By launching ‘Amanah,’ Dubai Municipality seeks to improve reporting mechanisms and promote community engagement, further reinforcing its commitment to service excellence. The platform offers an easy and private means for individuals to contribute to creating a safer and more compliant environment, especially for those who witness or suspect any violations related to municipal services.
The introduction of ‘Amanah’ aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of enhancing public engagement and transparency. This new service complements the existing “Al Ameen” initiative by Dubai Police, which allows residents to report security-related concerns confidentially. While Al Ameen focuses on law enforcement and safety issues, ‘Amanah’ specifically targets civic violations under the jurisdiction of Dubai Municipality. These initiatives collectively highlight Dubai’s dedication to governance, accountability, and the use of smart technology in improving public services.
