Dubai is set to host the MENA Capital Market Summit 2025 from May 6 to 7, as part of its ongoing efforts to reinforce its reputation as a global financial hub. The event aims to attract financial leaders and policymakers to discuss the future of capital markets and investment opportunities.

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, stated that the summit aligns with the emirate’s strategy to become one of the top four global financial centers. He emphasized that the summit serves as a crucial platform for dialogue and collaboration among industry experts, investors, and innovators.
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) will host the highly anticipated third edition of the summit at Madinat Jumeirah, expecting to welcome around 1,500 businesses and decision-makers. This premier forum aims to strengthen market resilience and enhance both regional and international investment connections.
The 2025 summit will focus on various critical topics, including the impact of artificial intelligence and technology on capital markets, initial public offering (IPO) trends, and the evolving role of retail investors. Attendees will also explore the transformation of private markets through keynotes, panel discussions, and fireside chats that promise valuable insights into investment trends and regulatory developments.
Hamed Ali, CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, remarked that the Capital Market Summit has become essential for discussions among regional and global experts that influence Dubai’s financial landscape. He highlighted that in 2024, AED10.48 billion (approximately $2.9 billion) was raised through IPOs, showcasing Dubai’s status as a hub for public offerings and investment activity.
Ali noted that DFM’s investor base has grown to 1.2 million investors from over 200 nationalities, reflecting increasing international confidence in Dubai’s market. He stressed the importance of fostering collaboration and innovation to drive future capital market development, particularly in the face of rapid global financial changes.
The carefully curated agenda and distinguished lineup of speakers at the summit aim to catalyze significant industry dialogue and strategic collaboration. By bringing together key financial stakeholders, the event seeks to provide insights into emerging opportunities and innovations within the investment landscape, further solidifying Dubai’s status as a global financial center.
