Developed in collaboration with the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, the programme is scheduled to take place from May 26 to 30, 2025, at the MBRSG headquarters located in Dubai. Its primary goal is to establish institutional models that ensure the ethical and responsible deployment of smart technologies, aligning with the UAE’s national strategy to reinforce its position as a leader in the AI sector.

The programme aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, to integrate AI into academic curricula and cultivate a generation capable of shaping the future. Participants will learn to assess Autonomous Intelligent Systems (AIS) against standards of transparency, accountability, privacy, and the mitigation of algorithmic bias, consistent with the IEEE CertifAIEd™ framework.

Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, emphasized that the launch of this programme underscores the institution’s commitment to preparing national talents for formulating effective policies in artificial intelligence. He noted that this effort seeks to strike a balance between technological progress and ethical responsibility, ultimately contributing to an advanced knowledge-based environment that exemplifies the UAE’s vision for digital governance.

Designed specifically for working professionals from various sectors such as strategy, compliance, data governance, technology, and innovation, the programme includes intensive training sessions. These will cover crucial topics such as strategic principles of AI ethics, the criteria set by IEEE CertifAIEd™, and ethical assessments of smart applications and services, as well as generative AI considerations.
