Flights between the UAE and India are operating on schedule, despite heavy rains affecting various parts of India over the past few days. The rains have particularly impacted international and domestic flights arriving at and departing from Delhi airport.

Spokespersons for UAE-based airlines, including Emirates, Etihad, and flydubai, confirmed that the current weather conditions have not had any direct impact on their flights. However, reports from Indian local media indicated that many domestic and international flights to Delhi airport from various locations have been either halted or diverted due to the adverse weather.
A wave of pre-monsoon showers has affected major cities such as New Delhi, Pune, Goa, and Bengaluru. In addition, the India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for parts of Bangalore, which is expected to remain in effect until May 27. Tragic reports from Indian media outlets also noted three deaths due to rain-related incidents in Bangalore and another three fatalities in Tamil Nadu.
