The new service represents a major change in how procedures are structured, significantly reducing the time and effort needed to complete transactions through SEDD’s various channels. By implementing this AI-based service, SEDD intends to offer an innovative experience for beneficiaries, utilizing AI to analyze commercial activities and suggest creative names that meet regulatory requirements.

Furthermore, the trade name issuance service aims to provide a simple and user-friendly interface, thereby automating the process to improve operational efficiency. It is designed not only to enhance the quality of trade names in line with business identities but also to encourage entrepreneurship, solidifying Sharjah’s status as a leading center for AI technology application.

The AI technology integrated into the service boasts several advantages, including a reduction in the trade name issuance completion process by up to 98 percent. It offers personalized name suggestions based on user activities and preferences, enhances user experience, and minimizes human errors.

According to Gulf Today, Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of SEDD, stated that the AI-powered trade name issuance service signifies a qualitative shift in delivering services to customers. He highlighted that it offers a unified digital experience while meeting the diverse needs of customers across various sectors.

Al Mahmoud also underscored that this project aligns with SEDD’s vision to improve digital infrastructure and leverage modern technology for development. It aims to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of Sharjah’s business environment, facilitating the establishment of companies and attracting local and foreign investments.

In addition, Ali Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director of the IT Department at SEDD, reiterated the Department’s commitment to using the latest technologies to deliver innovative services that enhance customer experience and improve efficiency. He noted that the launch of this smart service reflects SEDD’s dedication to developing a flexible digital infrastructure that aligns with technological advancements.

In a related development, last month, the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) launched its AI-powered virtual assistant platform, “Shj3,” developed by “Tahseel.” This innovative platform aims to modernize Sharjah’s financial systems by providing secure, efficient, and user-friendly support and payment services.

The launch ceremony took place at SFD’s headquarters, attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Finance Department, and other key officials. Sheikh Rashid emphasized that “Shj3” reflects SFD’s vision to create an intelligent financial environment powered by cutting-edge technology.
