Falcon and Fujairah Aviation Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to introduce graduate programs aimed at developing the next generation of aviation professionals. These programs are designed to support fresh graduates and individuals early in their careers, focusing on career development for aviation professionals, including engineers and pilots, as well as providing recruitment and internship opportunities.

Established in 1986 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Fujairah Aviation Academy is recognized as the first aviation academy in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. It specializes in high-quality training in Pilot Training and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training. With advanced facilities and a comprehensive fleet, the academy has grown to become the largest aviation training institution in the Middle East.
As reported by MENA FN, Mr. Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, Founder & Chairman of Alex Group Investments, which is the parent company of Falcon, stated that the graduate programs are aimed at empowering the next generation of aviation professionals with a tailored development path to successfully launch their careers.
Interns and graduates participating in these programs will engage in diverse rotations across various divisions of Falcon and benefit from mentorship provided by senior leaders, which will allow them to expand their professional networks and realize their full potential.
Captain Yahya Mohammed Saleh Al Boloushi, General Manager of Fujairah Aviation Academy, emphasized the ongoing development of the aviation sector within the UAE. He noted the crucial role of attracting and nurturing new talents as essential for meeting market demands and ensuring sustainable growth in the country.
Captain Al Boloushi further acknowledged that these partnerships are vital in establishing solid foundations for long-term relationships among various stakeholders. The initiative is set to provide professional training tailored to Falcon’s employees, including aviation-related examinations and specialized courses for aircraft maintenance engineers. Through this collaboration, Fujairah Aviation Academy reaffirms its commitment to excellence in aviation education, helping maintain the UAE’s position as a global leader in the aviation industry.
According to a study by Oxford Economics, Dubai’s aviation sector is projected to contribute 32% to the emirate’s economy and create one in four jobs by 2030. This sector is expected to add approximately USD 53.36 billion to Dubai’s GDP and support around 816 000 jobs in the same year.
