Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced the “New Manager” program, an initiative aimed at equipping new managers with essential leadership skills. The program is part of RTA’s efforts to meet its strategic goals and empower Emirati talents with the expertise needed for leadership and supervisory roles.

The program focuses on areas such as strategic leadership, innovation, team management, and change management. It combines theoretical learning with practical applications through interactive workshops and guidance sessions. Participants will also receive counseling to help them develop innovative approaches to leadership and decision-making.

Adhari Mohammed, Executive Director of Human Resources and Development at RTA, told Al Bayan that the program reflects the Authority’s dedication to creating a workplace that develops employee skills and fosters excellence. She highlighted that the initiative aligns with the directives of Dubai’s leadership to build an ideal work environment and achieve outstanding government results.

By 2025, the program aims to graduate 50 new leaders ready to tackle future challenges and lead teams effectively. This milestone will strengthen Dubai’s role as a global leader in sustainable mobility and advance RTA’s strategic goal of future readiness.
