Careem has partnered with Abu Dhabi Police to conduct a road safety training session for 80 of its delivery captains in Abu Dhabi. The session emphasized safe driving practices and adherence to local traffic laws.

This training marks the first in a series of ongoing safety initiatives that Careem plans to implement in collaboration with local authorities. Hosted by Abu Dhabi Police, the session addressed essential safety protocols for navigating city roads, equipping delivery captains with practical tools to operate safely while completing their delivery orders.
During the event, five captains were acknowledged for their consistent demonstration of safe and responsible driving behavior.
Abdullah Mohamad, General Manager of Careem in Abu Dhabi, expressed pride in collaborating with Abu Dhabi Police for this inaugural road safety training workshop. He stated that safety is a core value at Careem and an essential aspect of their daily operations. This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming one of the world’s safest cities and reaffirms Careem’s commitment to enhancing safety awareness for both their teams and the communities they serve.
