This partnership was announced at ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism trade fair. The aim is to enhance Abu Dhabi’s visibility in the Polish market, paving the way for new opportunities in cultural exchange and tourism development.

Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General for Tourism at DCT Abu Dhabi, highlighted the importance of the event. He stated that welcoming ITAKA’s Top Sellers Conference to Abu Dhabi demonstrates their commitment to building strong connections with Poland’s travel trade community. He emphasized that by providing leading travel professionals with firsthand experiences of Abu Dhabi, they hope to inspire more Polish travelers to explore the emirate’s diverse attractions.

The Top Sellers Conference 2025 is expected to attract over 200 Polish travel professionals for a vibrant two-day event in Al Ain, which is notable for being home to the UAE’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. This setting offers a unique opportunity to promote Abu Dhabi’s travel packages and seasonal itineraries.

During the conference, participants will engage in expert-led training sessions focused on Abu Dhabi’s tourism offerings. Additionally, there will be curated site visits and tours throughout Abu Dhabi City from April 13 to April 17, 2025, along with cultural and heritage experiences at top attractions and hospitality venues.

The event aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, which targets attracting 39.3 million visitors annually and generating AED 90 billion in tourism-related GDP. Furthermore, the strategy aims to create 178,000 new jobs in the tourism sector, underscoring Abu Dhabi’s dedication to fostering international partnerships and establishing itself as a premier travel destination for European markets.
