Air India is set to enhance travel options between India and Abu Dhabi by launching direct flights from Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) starting in June. This new route marks a significant improvement in connectivity between the UAE capital and the eastern Indian city.

The introduction of this service comes after the success of Bhubaneswar’s direct flights to Dubai, which have seen tickets selling out rapidly since their launch in May 2023. With this new Abu Dhabi destination, Air India is optimistic about similar demand and success.
Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, has a rich historical and cultural background, dating back to the 3rd century BCE. The city is known for its stunning Kalingan temples, ancient monuments, and vibrant art and craft villages, making it an attractive destination for both history enthusiasts and travelers seeking adventure.
With the new flights, travelers looking to experience the diverse cultures of either Abu Dhabi or Bhubaneswar will find their options significantly improved, whether for business trips or leisure activities.
