The Dubai Fountain, one of the UAE’s most popular tourist attractions, is set to close for five months starting this May. Emaar Properties, the developer behind this iconic landmark near Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, announced on Wednesday that the fountain will undergo a full renovation.

Known for its stunning synchronized water, music, and light performances, the Dubai Fountain draws millions of visitors from around the world each year. In a statement, Emaar revealed that the upgrades will include enhancements to its choreography, lighting, and sound systems to create a more immersive experience for audiences.
Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, described the Dubai Fountain as “a reflection of Dubai’s soul,” emphasizing its role in connecting people and inspiring wonder. He assured that after the renovation, the fountain will be “even more spectacular.”
Emaar said the project aims to elevate the landmark’s appeal while maintaining its status as a must-visit destination in Dubai. Visitors can look forward to a revitalized show once the upgrades are completed.
