The UAE is set to host six major global conferences for the first time in 2025, showcasing its expertise in organising large-scale international events, according to WAM.
One of the highlights will be the IUCN World Conservation Congress, which is scheduled for October. The event will bring together global experts to address key topics such as biodiversity, climate change, and sustainability.
From 27th to 29th October, Dubai’s Expo City will host the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit (2025APCS) & Mayors’ Forum. This marks the first time the Middle East will welcome this prominent event, which gathers mayors, city leaders, and business figures to discuss urban development and collaboration.
In November, Dubai will also host the ICOM General Conference 2025. More than 4,000 museum professionals and experts are expected to participate, focusing on innovative partnerships and shaping the future of museums globally.
The healthcare sector will see two major events making their Middle East debut. Abu Dhabi will hold the 25th International Union for Health Promotion and Education Conference (IUHPE 25th) from 13th to 16th May, while Dubai will host the 19th World Congress of Neurosurgery from 1st to 4th December.
Additionally, the 28th Universal Postal Congress 2025 will take place in Dubai, bringing together government officials, international organisations, and global postal leaders to discuss the evolving role of postal services in today’s rapidly changing world.
These events highlight the UAE’s growing role as a hub for international conferences and its commitment to fostering global dialogue on key issues.
