DWTC Announces Over 100 Major Events for H1 2025

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has unveiled an extensive lineup of over 100 events for the first half of 2025, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a key player in global business tourism. The calendar includes major exhibitions, conferences, and trade events across fields like healthcare, food and beverages, security, tourism, and finance. This initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to bolster Dubai’s economic contributions and innovation leadership.

As reported by Government of Dubai Media Office, Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, noted that the focus for 2025 is on innovation and reshaping the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. Speaking to the Government of Dubai Media Office, he said that the diverse event lineup will highlight both established and emerging sectors while driving Dubai’s economic growth. By 2033, DWTC plans to double its event portfolio and triple its economic impact.

The jam-packed calendar kicks off with the 30th edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT) from January 7 to 9. This event will bring together pharmaceutical professionals for networking and business opportunities.

Other highlights include Arab Health (January 27–30), which celebrates 50 years as a leading healthcare platform, and Gulfood (February 17–22), the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade show. The calendar also features the Dubai International Horse Fair, the Arabian Travel Market, and World Art Dubai, which cater to equestrian enthusiasts, travel professionals, and art lovers, respectively.

Security and technology take center stage with events like Intersec (January 14–16), GISEC (May 16–18), and Seamless Middle East 2025 (May 20–22), showcasing innovations in cybersecurity, AI, fintech, and digital commerce. Meanwhile, Middle East Rail (June 24–25) will spotlight advancements in transport and mobility.

Julfar emphasized that these events not only attract global business leaders to Dubai but also drive innovation and economic progress. With such a robust calendar, DWTC continues to strengthen its role in shaping the future of global business events.
