The Indian parent company intends to invest $4 million in this expansion to ramp up operations, hire local talent, and explore potential acquisitions for inorganic growth. This international move is projected to generate around $6 million in additional revenue over the next 18 months.

Gamezop has chosen Bahrain as its headquarters for the Middle Eastern market, where it currently enables over 9 000 apps across 70 countries to offer casual games. Developers and studios can utilize their plug-and-play model, which allows them to enhance user engagement and monetization without the need to procure, host, or manage games independently.

Gaurav Agarwal, co-founder of Gamezop, expressed optimism about Bahrain’s appeal to global companies, citing the country’s forward-looking policies and the proactive support from the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) as key factors in their expansion.

In addition to casual gaming, Gamezop operates in various verticals such as quizzing, astrology, and cricket. Musab Abdulla, Executive Director of ICT at the Bahrain EDB, highlighted that Bahrain’s gaming and content creation ecosystem is gaining momentum, driven by strong digital infrastructure, supportive government initiatives, and a growing pool of creative talent.
