As part of the Dubai stand led by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, both Dubai Media City and Dubai Science Park are integral components of TECOM Group PJSC. They aim to demonstrate their contributions to fostering innovation in line with several initiatives, including the Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’, the Dubai Research and Development Programme, and the UAE Digital Economy Strategy.

The UAE has been recognized as the top country in North Africa and Western Asia in the Global Innovation Index (GII), which measures the performance of innovation ecosystems across various factors such as human capital and research, infrastructure, market sophistication, and knowledge and technology outputs. TECOM Group enhances Dubai’s innovation landscape through its portfolio of 10 specialized business districts and services like in5, which attract global companies and skilled talent.

Since its inception in 2013, in5 has supported over 1 000 start-ups that have collectively raised more than AED 7.8 billion in funding. At VivaTech, in5 will highlight its innovators, including Coralytics, a marketing platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve real estate listings and attract buyers, tenants, and sellers. Also featured will be Suppy, which provides customizable mobile and web e-commerce solutions, and Aire, a company that utilizes big data, AI, and automation technology for real estate feasibility studies.

Dubai Media City has been instrumental in developing the region’s creative sector for more than 20 years. It, along with Dubai Production City and Dubai Studio City, forms TECOM Group’s Media Cluster, which hosts over 4 000 businesses, including major names like CNN, Reuters, and Discovery Networks, as well as more than 40 000 creative professionals.

Dubai Science Park plays a crucial role in establishing Dubai as a center for scientific knowledge, home to over 500 industry leaders, including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Bayer, and BeiGene, alongside 6,500 professionals. TECOM Group has been pivotal in advancing Dubai’s economic ambitions through its diverse sector-focused districts.

TECOM Group has developed strategic, sector-focused business districts across Dubai since 1999, positioning itself to continue playing a vital role in reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global business and talent hub. Its portfolio includes 10 business districts catering to six key knowledge-based economic sectors: design, education, manufacturing, media, science, and technology. The group offers a tailored leasing portfolio to over 12 000 customers and more than 137 000 professionals.
