Musk made this statement during the Saudi-US Investment Forum, where he received enthusiastic applause from a room filled with corporate leaders. He expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for this significant approval, highlighting the importance of expanding internet access through innovative technologies.

This announcement coincides with President Donald Trump’s overseas trip to Saudi Arabia, marking the first overseas tour of his second term. Trump is accompanied by several prominent figures from the private sector and aims to secure $1 trillion in investments during his visit to the Middle East, with initial deals already being established.

However, the trip has not been without controversy. Legal experts and bipartisan politicians have raised concerns regarding the president’s plan to accept a $400 million jet from Qatar.
