H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, recently met with Sarah Friar, the Chief Financial Officer of OpenAI, a prominent artificial intelligence research organization.

During the meeting, they discussed OpenAI’s latest AI solutions and the organization’s global initiatives to advance cutting-edge technologies, tools, and applications across various critical sectors.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled emphasized the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence to foster innovation and influence the future in significant economic and scientific areas. He also highlighted the need to leverage global expertise and establish strategic partnerships with leading institutions within this rapidly evolving sector.

The discussions included national strategies and visions for the integration of AI solutions and technologies across different industries. This aims to reinforce both the UAE’s and Abu Dhabi’s status as a global hub for technological innovation while supporting the growth of a competitive, knowledge-based economy driven by advanced technologies.

The meeting was attended by Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Crown Prince’s Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, along with Peng Xiao, Group CEO of G42.
