The newly launched AI strategy is part of PCFC’s broader corporational strategy, aiming to integrate AI into everyday workplace operations. This initiative seeks to transform all services into intelligent, self-managed processes that enhance customer service efficiency and effectiveness.

The launch of the strategy coincides with the commencement of “Dubai AI Week,” a five-day event running from April 21 to 25, which features extensive participation from local and international stakeholders.

Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, highlighted that this AI-driven strategy marks a significant transformation in the Corporation’s operations. He noted that the strategy is aligned with the goal of evolving into a fully integrated smart government entity, with actionable plans supported by AI technologies set to continue through the end of 2025. A key focus will be on improving customer experience and satisfaction through efficient and rapid services.

Al Neyadi elaborated that the Corporation aims to establish a unified digital ecosystem powered by intelligent systems. Key features of this transformation include automating services for real-time operations, simplifying procedures through smart processing technologies, issuing no-objection certificates (NOCs) via AI, and implementing smart voice and text response systems to ensure immediate and effective customer support.

The strategy comprises 20 core pillars, such as automation, intelligent data analysis, system integration, data security, regulatory compliance, and the certification of IT staff in international AI programs by the end of 2025. It also includes the development of advanced digital services aimed at all client-facing systems.
