Dubai is intensifying its efforts to implement artificial intelligence across government departments. This announcement came during the ongoing Dubai AI Week, where officials unveiled the new AI policy for government entities along with the inaugural Dubai State of AI Report.

The report showcases how AI is already transforming public services in various sectors such as healthcare, urban planning, and emergency response, featuring over 100 real-world use cases that are either currently active or under development. Officials emphasized that the aim is to create a smarter, faster, and more citizen-focused government.
Dubai’s AI Policy provides a framework to ensure responsible and ethical use of AI across all departments. This policy aligns with commitments made during last year’s AI Retreat and emphasizes key principles such as transparency, interoperability, and innovation. The initiatives were developed by Digital Dubai in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation, with the objective of positioning Dubai as a global leader in government AI.
