Emirates Development Bank (EDB) has inaugurated the first artificial intelligence (AI) lab in Dubai, specifically tailored for people of determination. This initiative is part of the UAE’s Developing with Kindness campaign, aimed at enhancing the lives of citizens with special needs, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

The AI lab focuses on providing opportunities for individuals with Down Syndrome to engage with advanced educational tools and receive practical training in AI and robotics. This initiative is designed to empower residents with special needs to develop vital skills that can help them in various aspects of life.

Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi, the CEO of Emirates Development Bank, emphasized that the lab’s opening showcases the bank’s commitment to advancing key sectors such as healthcare and technology. He stated that this effort aims to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by granting them access to innovative solutions.

The launch of the lab coincides with the “Year of the Community” in the UAE, signaling a broader effort to create an inclusive and sustainable society for all residents.
