In 2024, AWS committed $230 million to support the development of generative AI applications by startups globally, along with the launch of the second annual AWS Generative AI Accelerator. According to a report from Digital Digest, the UAE’s startup ecosystem accounted for 44 percent of the MENA region’s $2 billion funding rounds across 542 investment deals in 2024. The AWS GenAI Loft Dubai is part of a global initiative featuring collaborative spaces and immersive experiences for startups and developers. The event will offer expert-led workshops, interactive demonstrations, and one-on-one consultations with AWS AI/ML specialists.
