Nvidia GeForce Middle East, in collaboration with the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33) and led by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), hosted the inaugural Nvidia RTX AI GameCraft. This pioneering event highlighted the future of game development leveraging Nvidia’s RTX AI technologies and showcased the top game development talent from the UAE.

The RTX AI GameCraft brought together game developers and industry professionals at the Emirates Towers Boulevard. Participants were tasked with creating games that reflect both Dubai’s past and future, utilizing RTX-powered hardware to enhance their game’s visuals and performance through Nvidia’s advanced technologies.
Among the key Nvidia RTX technologies utilized were Nvidia DLSS for improved visuals and performance, Nvidia Reflex for reduced latency, Nvidia Ace for lifelike in-game characters, and Nvidia Canvas for scene creation. Developers also employed several other Nvidia technologies to push the boundaries of innovation in their projects.
Hundreds of developers participated, with 15 games shortlisted for showcase. An expert panel evaluated each game, and three outstanding winners were selected from the competition, sharing a total prize pool of $12,000.
The first-place winner, AI Innovators, presented their game titled “Back to Dubai,” which is a time travel adventure puzzle game crafted using Unreal Engine 5. They reported that their game achieved a performance of 70 frames per second at 4k resolution using an RTX 4090 GPU, which increased to 140 fps with Nvidia DLSS 3.5.
The second-place winner, PropVR, showcased “Dubai GTA Demo,” inspired by the popular Grand Theft Auto series. They emphasized their use of Nvidia technologies to push real-time rendering boundaries, enhancing both performance and visual fidelity.
The third-place winner, 2ndJam, created “Building Dubai,” utilizing Nvidia’s AI tools to streamline asset creation. They expressed pride in their game’s outcome and look forward to further integrating Nvidia technologies in future projects.
Chantelle Tavid, Head of Marketing at Nvidia for MENA, CIS, and Turkey, expressed her enthusiasm about the event’s success, stating that RTX AI GameCraft demonstrated the immense talent and creativity among game developers in the region. She noted the significance of the collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation in fostering the gaming community.
Faisal Kazim, Head of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, highlighted that the event marks a significant advancement in empowering Dubai’s gaming community. He pointed out that the city is quickly establishing itself as a global gaming hub, attracting numerous gaming companies and specialist developers.
The debut of Nvidia RTX AI GameCraft is seen as a crucial step in driving innovation and nurturing the gaming ecosystem in the UAE. Both Nvidia and the DFF are dedicated to empowering creators with cutting-edge technology, providing a platform for the next generation of game developers to excel.
