A healthcare business in Abu Dhabi called Aspen Medical has teamed up with BlueRoom Simulations in Melbourne to create a mixed reality (MR) feature that will be used for training defense healthcare workers. This new platform combines Aspen Medical’s training experience with BlueRoom Simulations’ cutting-edge MR technology. It was created to help medics and first responders improve their skills.

The new training program will focus on medical treatments that aren’t too difficult, like inserting an IV, managing an airway, and doing different kinds of surgery. Its goal is to make practice situations that are like real life, including high-risk places like combat zones and airplanes, so that trainees can practice safely and effectively.
The MR Simulation technology is meant to get rid of the need for handheld controllers so that students can use their own hands to connect with the virtual world. Benjamin Krynski, CEO of BlueRoom, was excited about the deal and emphasized how it could improve military medical training around the world.
Aspen Medical said that the MR Simulation suite is meant to improve important skills and keep operations ready by using realistic training situations. This is expected to save money, boost productivity, and make people better at what they do. Aspen Medical’s Chief Partnerships Officer, Al Martin, agreed that standard military training can be pricey and hard to set up.
He said that the partnership with BlueRoom Simulations is meant to solve these problems by giving doctors high-fidelity, scenario-based training that really improves their skills. Military doctors and other health care workers should be able to use this technology to improve their skills in settings that are very similar to real life. This will help them learn how to work well under pressure.
