The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has launched a digital edition of its Legislation Encyclopedia, providing a valuable resource for stakeholders, customers, and the general public. This comprehensive digital encyclopedia includes all legislations pertinent to the Department’s responsibilities and operations.

The digital encyclopedia aims to enhance legal awareness and consolidate legal references. It supports the DMT’s efforts in overseeing sustainable urban development, improving municipal services, and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s integrated transport system. The encyclopedia features eight sections, covering legislations on the establishment of the Department, the real estate sector, construction, urban planning, health and safety, and more.

A key highlight of this digital legislation encyclopedia is its AI-enabled search function, which delivers semantically accurate results to assist users in finding relevant information efficiently. Additionally, a ChatGPT-enabled virtual counselor will be available, offering multilingual support to provide users with answers and legal references.

This launch marks a significant milestone in the Department’s commitment to regulatory excellence and technological innovation. The digital legislative encyclopedia is accessible at no cost through DMT’s website or via a dedicated app available on both the Apple Store and Google Play, aligning with the government’s vision to foster a robust legal framework that enhances the emirate’s global standing.
