Core42 Launches AI Developer Playground for Enhanced AI Solutions in UAE

Core42, a G42 company that specializes in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services, has announced the launch of the AI Developer Playground in UAE data centers. This platform, built on the Qualcomm® Cloud AI family of accelerators and the Qualcomm® AI Inference Suite for Cloud, is designed to empower developers and AI engineers by providing them with high-performance AI applications, tools, and libraries for effortless AI solution development.

The AI Developer Playground simplifies infrastructure challenges by integrating AI inference accelerators, standardized APIs, and pre-built generative AI applications. This is particularly crucial as the demand for automation, scalability, and performance optimization grows across various industries. The platform supports a wide range of AI applications, including computer vision and generative AI, enabling developers to build, scale, and optimize their solutions with ease.

According to Zawya, Raghu Chakravarthi, EVP of Engineering at Core42, told about the company’s commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure to drive transformation in businesses. The Qualcomm AI Inference Suite presents a comprehensive set of enterprise-ready AI tools that allow developers to create AI applications across various use cases, including Chat, Reasoning, Code or Image Generation, and Enterprise RAG applications. This cost-effective cloud solution supports both Kubernetes and bare-metal container deployments, facilitating integration with popular generative AI models and frameworks. Developers will also have free access to leading open-source models, such as Llama-3.3 70B and JAIS30B, with ongoing updates to meet evolving AI needs.

Rashid Attar, SVP of Cloud Computing at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., expressed pride in collaborating with Core42 to explore new possibilities in automation and efficiency. He noted that this partnership aims to enable breakthroughs in various sectors, delivering AI-powered agents for applications ranging from smart city automation to medical AI applications.
