TRENDS Research and Advisory has announced the opening of registration for the second edition of the TRENDS Hub Scientific Research Award, which emphasizes the importance of artificial intelligence (AI). Applications for the award will be accepted until 30th June 2025, and the top three winners will be revealed on 9th September 2025. This award is designed to promote scientific excellence, foster innovation, and stimulate research on AI-related subjects at both regional and global levels.

Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, the CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, stated that dedicating this edition to AI highlights its significance in modern life and its critical role in advancing key sectors. He emphasized that the award not only encourages the development of AI but also supports research initiatives, promotes collaboration, and addresses ethical and social challenges associated with AI advancements.

Al-Ali further pointed out that research in AI is crucial for improving algorithms, analyzing big data, enhancing security and privacy, and facilitating human-machine interaction. The award aims to stimulate AI applications across various fields, including healthcare, education, industry, and economics.

Fahad Al-Mehri, the Head of TRENDS – Dubai Sector, confirmed that the nomination period will end on 30th June 2025, with the winners being announced on TRENDS’ anniversary.

The top three submissions to the award will receive certificates along with cash prizes of US$5,000 for first place, US$3,000 for second place, and US$2,000 for third place. Winning studies will be published on TRENDS’ platforms, and winners will also be eligible for research fellowships and priority invitations to specialized training courses.
