Bahrain-based Arcapita has joined hands with New York’s Parkway Venture Capital to invest in a portfolio of fast-growing artificial intelligence (AI) companies. This move comes as the global demand for transformative AI technologies continues to rise.

The portfolio includes notable players like Figure AI, which creates AI-powered humanoid robots and collaborates with industry giants such as Amazon and BMW. Another standout is SandboxAQ, a quantum computing-focused AI firm supported by prominent names like former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Salesforce’s Marc Benioff, and Allianz.

With AI adoption increasing across both public and private sectors, the global AI market is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 28% from 2024 to 2030, as per Statista.

As reported by Zawya, Neil Carter, Managing Director of US Private Equity at Arcapita, said the firm aims to support businesses shaping the future. The investment offers investors access to early-stage AI companies working on groundbreaking technologies.
