Intersec 2025 Set to Open in Dubai with Record Exhibitors and Visitors

The 26th edition of Intersec, recognized as the world’s largest business event focused on security, safety, and fire protection, commenced today at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This year’s event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is expected to be the largest and most comprehensive in its history, featuring 1,200 exhibitors from 61 countries and anticipating over 52,000 visitors from more than 140 countries.

Intersec 2025 will revolve around the theme ‘Mapping the Future of Security, Safety, and Fire Protection’. The event will showcase advanced technologies and essential solutions in five key sectors: Commercial & Perimeter Security, Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health, Cyber Security, and Homeland Security & Policing. Notably, the event will feature 11 country pavilions, highlighting contributions from nations such as the UK, France, and Singapore, emphasizing its importance as a hub for networking, knowledge exchange, and business collaboration.

According to WAM, Grant Tuchten, the Portfolio Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organizing body of Intersec, highlighted  that “Intersec 2025 is a powerful demonstration of global collaboration, uniting participants from around the world to showcase the best in security, safety, and fire protection.” He added that the event provides a unique platform that combines innovation with expertise, which is crucial for shaping the future of these industries. Tuchten expressed anticipation for the gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and professionals who will connect, inspire, and create solutions for a safer tomorrow.

This year’s Intersec introduces several new features, including the first-ever Intersec Policing Conference. This conference will see over 50 international experts discussing best practices in law enforcement and public safety. Another significant addition is the CISO Business Briefing, an exclusive forum designed for Chief Information Security Officers to explore emerging cybersecurity trends and strategies.

Additionally, the event will debut the Intersec Startup Arena, organized in partnership with Ignyte. This arena will provide a transformative platform for startups to showcase innovative and disruptive solutions to industry leaders and investors, further enhancing the event’s role in fostering innovation within the security sector.
