Dubai has made a significant advancement in digital governance with the introduction of an ambitious artificial intelligence strategy aimed at redefining public services. This initiative seeks to integrate AI into all government operations, ultimately delivering smarter, faster, and more efficient services for both residents and businesses.

The comprehensive plan was revealed during Dubai AI Week, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS. Central to this strategy is the focus on automating services, streamlining processes, and employing intelligent systems capable of anticipating and addressing user needs in real time.
Key components of the transformation include the instant digital processing of documents, as well as AI-powered voice and text response systems that enhance user interaction. Additionally, the plan incorporates the smart automation of routine services and is structured around twenty key principles related to data analysis, predictive technology, system integration, and strong cybersecurity measures.
Maritime services will be among the first to benefit from this new strategy, with advanced AI systems scheduled to launch in mid-2025. The initiative is expected to expand across other government departments by the end of the year.
