Dubai Land Department Launches ‘Dubai Real Estate Connect’ Roadshow in New Delhi

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has initiated the ‘Dubai Real Estate Connect’ roadshow in New Delhi, India, aiming to reinforce Dubai’s status as a leader in global real estate investment. This event, organized in collaboration with Q4 Consultants and IIFL Group, featured the presence of Dr. Abdul Nasser Al Shaali, the UAE Ambassador to India, and attracted prominent investors, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers from India’s real estate sector.

This initiative is part of the Real Estate I strategy, which is a year-round promotional effort by the Dubai Land Department targeting several major cities worldwide. The goal is to broaden international cooperation and strengthen investment ties, particularly with India, a key strategic partner in real estate investment.

The DLD delegation included notable figures such as Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector; Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector; Khalifa Al Zeriem Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions; and Mohammed Yahya, Director of the Real Estate Transactions Department. During the event, they presented an in-depth overview of Dubai’s real estate investment landscape, showcasing its promising opportunities and competitive advantages that make it a prime investment destination.

The delegation highlighted several strategic pillars, focusing on modern urban planning trends, streamlined regulatory processes, and integrated digital services that enhance business operations while safeguarding investor rights. They also emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and India, along with joint initiatives that facilitate investment flows and promote economic integration.

This initiative is part of the broader Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, which aims to position Dubai among the top three global cities for real estate investment. The strategy is founded on principles of transparency, efficiency, and technology-driven innovation, which have significantly advanced the emirate’s appeal to international investors.

Additionally, the DLD showcased its digital transformation efforts, including the Tokenisation Project, which makes Dubai the first entity in the region to utilize blockchain technology for property registration. Other initiatives include the AI-powered Smart Rental Index and the ‘She Pioneers’ program, along with integrated digital platforms like the Dubai REST app, all designed to streamline real estate transactions.

Majida Ali Rashid remarked that the ‘Dubai Real Estate Connect’ event in New Delhi is a significant step in enhancing global cooperation and investment opportunities between Dubai and India in the real estate sector. She noted that this initiative highlights Dubai’s advanced real estate ecosystem, characterized by transparent legislation and innovative digital services.

Furthermore, Rashid mentioned that the recent ‘She Pioneers’ initiative was well-received in India, leading to the DLD’s invitation to honor influential women in India’s real estate sector during the event, acknowledging their crucial role in advancing the market.
