Arada has announced the completion of another 120 homes at its Aljada megaproject in Sharjah, following the finishing of The Gate, a two-building complex located at the entry point of the AED 35 billion development. This brings the total number of homes completed at Aljada to over 10 000 since the company’s inception.

The newly built The Gate offers a selection of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments, all featuring smart home technologies. With the buildings completed at the end of 2024, handovers are now taking place, allowing residents to enjoy the complex’s modern design, prime location, and high-quality facilities. The development provides quick access to the Madar family entertainment district, which is just a short walk away.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, highlighted that Aljada has become a thriving urban district, now home to over 20 000 residents. He noted that the company is continuing to develop additional residential buildings within Aljada’s creative district, including the Vida Aljada hotel and branded residences, which are expected to be ready by the end of this year.

The Gate complex not only offers convenient access to Aljada but also features extensive green spaces, an adventure playground, an outdoor gym, and dedicated jogging and cycling tracks. These amenities are designed to promote an active and engaging lifestyle for residents.

In addition to the 120 homes completed at The Gate, Arada has delivered over 7 600 homes in Aljada, with another 1 600 set to be completed this year. Earlier in 2025, the company launched Safa, a new premium apartment cluster consisting of 660 smart homes across five buildings on Aljada’s West Boulevard, which will also include various shopping and dining options.

Spanning 24 million square feet, Aljada will ultimately consist of 25 000 homes and aims to transform the Sharjah landscape. The development includes numerous residential areas, as well as retail, hospitality, entertainment, education, healthcare, and business park facilities, all integrated within a green urban master plan.
