The announcement regarding the new extension was shared on Instagram by Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar, the mall’s parent company. While specific details about the new stores have not been disclosed, excitement is building among shoppers eager to plan their next visit. According to Alabbar’s post, the new shops will be located in the area connecting Level Shoes, Dubai Ice Rink, and Dubai Aquarium.

In addition to the Dubai Mall expansion, the shopping landscape in Dubai is set for further growth with the anticipated opening of Nad Al Sheba Mall in April. This new mall will cover 500,000 square meters and will feature around 100 stores, catering primarily to local residents. It will also include amenities such as a rooftop gym, swimming pool, and panel courts, alongside Fit N Glam, a modern ladies-only workout and wellness facility.
