The initiative reflects Dubai Municipality’s dedication to improving sustainable urban planning and developing a clear, integrated vision for the future urban landscape. The platform offers detailed building data and analytics, equipping investors, developers, and urban planners with accurate information to inform their investment choices, in line with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33.

Furthermore, the Building Intelligence Platform aims to enhance Dubai’s global competitiveness by promoting transparency and innovation within the real estate and urban planning sectors. The platform serves as an essential intelligence tool, delivering precise data on various aspects of buildings, including the number of floors, building height, total area, gross floor area (GFA), and different usage classifications.

Key insights available through the platform include granular information on residential and commercial units, such as the number of apartments, unit sizes, and overall floor space. It also integrates vital economic indicators like commercial activities, rental values, demographic data, maintenance costs, and base price valuations, providing a holistic view of market dynamics to support strategic investment and development planning.

An important feature of the platform is the Rental Index, which offers accurate, real-time rental data to assist property investment strategies. This resource allows both government entities and private sector stakeholders to optimize urban planning strategies and improve land use efficiency. Dubai Municipality is participating in WGS 2025 as a Smart City Partner, highlighting its key initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability, urban appeal, and the quality of life in Dubai.
