Sharjah is gearing up for its biggest real estate event yet, as the ACRES 2025 exhibition prepares to welcome over 110 exhibitors. Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), the event will run from January 22 to 25 at Expo Centre Sharjah.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, ACRES 2025 will showcase projects from major real estate companies across the UAE and the region, alongside first-time participants. The exhibition will cover 10,000 square meters and feature residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects.
During a press conference at SCCI headquarters, officials highlighted the event’s significance. Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, stated that this year marks the largest edition in ACRES’ history, with participation from leading developers and investors. He emphasized the exhibition’s role as a key platform for fostering growth in Sharjah’s real estate sector.
The Sharjah Executive Council’s decision to reduce transaction fees for sales and purchases during the exhibition is expected to drive further interest. Al Awadi noted that the emirate’s real estate market saw a 35.6% rise in transaction volume in the first half of 2024, reaching AED 18.2 billion.
The event will also feature the return of the Egyptian Real Estate Pavilion, showcasing projects from top Egyptian developers in prime locations such as New Cairo and Ain Sokhna.
ACRES 2025 promises exclusive discounts, special deals, and a range of activities, including expert-led workshops and panel discussions on legal and investment practices.
With sponsors like Alef Group, IFA Hotels and Resorts, and Al Thuriah Group unveiling new projects, the exhibition aims to solidify Sharjah’s position as a prime destination for real estate investment.
Engineer Hamidi Al Ketbi of the Sharjah Directorate of Town Planning and Survey highlighted the event’s focus on attracting sustainable and innovative projects. Nawaf Obeid, CEO of ACRES, added that strong partnerships with public and private entities continue to fuel the exhibition’s success.
This year’s edition sets the stage for significant growth in Sharjah’s real estate sector, making it a must-visit for industry professionals and investors alike.
