Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has announced a major housing initiative worth Dh5.4 billion aimed at supporting young Emiratis who are starting families. The project will see the construction of more than 3,000 new homes across Dubai, catering to both housing loan and grant beneficiaries.
Under the plan, 1,181 homes will be built in Latifa City for those receiving housing loans, according to The National. For grant recipients, the new homes will be distributed across several areas, including 606 homes in Al Yalayis 5, 432 in Wadi Al Amardi, 398 in Al Awir 1, 200 in Hatta’s Makan area, 120 in Oud Al Muteena, and 67 in Dubai’s countryside and rural areas.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the initiative is closely tied to the Dubai Wedding Initiative, giving priority to participants.
This housing project aligns with the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum family programme, launched on January 4, which aims to strengthen community values and promote a balanced lifestyle through financial, social, and educational support. Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s commitment to ensuring the prosperity and comfort of its citizens.
