The Ministry of Justice in the UAE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UAE University to establish a fruitful partnership aimed at enhancing collaboration in forensic science and criminal evidence fields. This agreement seeks to facilitate the exchange of expertise and information between both parties, contributing to the development of scientific and research areas, as well as building qualified Emirati professionals in forensic and criminal evidence disciplines.

The MoU was signed by Abdulrahman Murad Al-Balushi, the Assistant Undersecretary for International Cooperation and Legal Affairs at the Ministry, and Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Raisi, the Acting President of UAE University.
Recognizing the importance of integration in improving legal and research performance, both parties agreed to provide opportunities for knowledge sharing and practical training. They aim to enhance capabilities in forensic science and criminal evidence, which will ultimately support the development of the judicial system in the UAE.
