His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, met with Alexander Caedmon Karp, Co-Founder and CEO of Palantir Technologies, to explore ways to boost AI adoption and digital transformation in the UAE.

The meeting, held in Sheikh Maktoum’s office, highlighted the UAE’s dedication to working closely with global technology leaders. During the discussion, Sheikh Maktoum stressed the country’s commitment to building advanced infrastructure and a business-friendly environment that encourages innovation and supports the UAE’s vision for a technology-driven future.

The talks also focused on strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the local tech industry and further solidifying the UAE’s position as a global hub for AI and digital innovation. These efforts align with the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to make the UAE a leader in AI advancements.

Several key officials attended the meeting, including Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group; Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding.

The meeting underscored the UAE’s efforts to strengthen partnerships that drive innovation and shape the future of technology.
