Dubai South, recognized as the largest urban master development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has officially inaugurated the new regional headquarters for JAS Middle East. JAS is a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions. The inauguration event was attended by notable figures, including HE Edoardo Napoli, Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Dubai, and Biagio Bruni, Founder & Chairman of JAS Worldwide, alongside other senior executives from both organizations.

The new facility spans 19 170 square meters and is designed to set benchmarks in sustainability, efficiency, and technological innovation. This ‘Build-to-Suit’ facility represents a significant milestone in JAS’s regional expansion. It is equipped to meet specific logistics requirements and reinforces the company’s commitment to growth and excellence, enhancing its capabilities to serve the entire Middle East market.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature both racked and bulk storage options, three temperature-controlled chambers, and 12 loading bays with dock levellers and roller shutter doors. With a height of over 14 meters at its apex, the facility complies with the latest firefighting regulations. Additionally, it will include two floors of office space and solar panels on the roof to offset utility costs, contributing to its ESG credentials.

Mohsen Ahmad, the CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, expressed satisfaction with the opening, stating that the new headquarters will provide the UAE and the wider Middle East region with best-in-class logistics solutions. He highlighted the significance of Dubai South in supporting global industry leaders like JAS and emphasized the facility’s cutting-edge design and ESG-compliant infrastructure, which enhances the region’s future in aviation and logistics.

Biagio Bruni further remarked that the facility embodies their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellent service. He noted their pride in strengthening their presence in the region and their eagerness to continue providing tailored and innovative logistics solutions to customers.

Dubai South’s Logistics District is a hub of logistical innovation, featuring a premier infrastructure network that offers superior services and operations. The district ensures uninterrupted access to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor and includes multiple zones with direct access to the cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, a fully dedicated e-commerce free zone known as EZDubai, and a Contract Logistics Zone.
