Khaldoon Al Mubarak Meets US Officials to Enhance UAE Investment Plans

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the chairman of the UAE’s Executive Affairs Authority, recently met with officials from the Trump administration in Washington to discuss investment strategies aimed at enhancing the UAE’s financial footprint in the United States. These meetings took place on April 23 and 24 and were focused on advancing investment plans that were initially outlined during Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed’s official visit to Washington in March.

The initiatives discussed are designed to strengthen the economic ties between the UAE and the US, with a goal of significantly increasing the UAE’s investments in the US economy. Key sectors highlighted for potential investment include artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, industry, and energy, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (Wam).

During these discussions, Mr. Al Mubarak engaged with several high-profile officials, including US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and US National Security Adviser Michael Waltz. He was accompanied by Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the US, along with various officials from UAE entities.

In March, during Sheikh Tahnoon’s visit, he met with US President Donald Trump, who praised the UAE as a vital partner and acknowledged the long-standing relationship between the two nations.
