MENA FinTech Association and FinTech Armenia Association Establish Strategic Partnership

The MENA FinTech Association (MFTA) has announced a strategic partnership with the FinTech Armenia Association, aimed at bolstering fintech innovation in both regions. This collaboration, which was revealed in a press release, signifies a step forward in enhancing cross-border synergies in Financial Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Banking. It emphasizes the goal of strengthening the global digital financial and technological ecosystem.

As the fintech industry rapidly evolves, the partnership aims to create a platform that connects industry stakeholders, regulators, and innovators. Both organizations are committed to accelerating digital transformation across the MENA region, Armenia, the Caucasus, and international markets.

The strategic objectives of this partnership include facilitating knowledge exchange and best practices in fintech innovation, advocating for regulatory harmonization, co-hosting industry events and workshops, and strengthening investment opportunities for fintech startups in both regions. Nameer Khan, Chairman of MFTA, expressed excitement about Armenia’s emergence as a fintech hub, stating that their collaboration will unlock new opportunities for innovation and economic growth.

Stefan Lucas, the Founding CEO of FinTech Armenia, highlighted the partnership as a pivotal moment for Armenia’s fintech sector, emphasizing that it would help integrate Armenian fintech market participants into the global financial ecosystem. This strategic alliance aims to provide access to resources, expertise, and market opportunities for fintech startups, banks, telcos, insurers, academia, and technology providers.
