His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a budget of AED 42 million for the construction of internal roads in the Al Ramaqiah and Al Suwaihat areas. This funding includes AED 27 million designated for the Al Ramaqiah area and AED 15 million for the Al Suwaihat area. The new road projects will commence following the completion of sewage work in these regions.

The announcement regarding this significant infrastructure investment was made during the “Direct Line” programme aired on Sharjah Radio and Television. Following the work in Al Ramaqiah and Al Suwaihat, project teams will shift their focus to other areas in need of road improvements.

This initiative highlights the continued commitment of the Sharjah government to enhance local infrastructure and improve accessibility for residents. The investment in road construction is expected to facilitate better transportation and contribute to the overall development of the region.
