Measuring 985 meters in length, the new bridge includes two lanes and has the capacity to handle up to 3 200 vehicles per hour. The overall Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project spans 4.8 kilometers, starting from the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, and ending at the Falcon Intersection on Al Mina Street.

This new infrastructure is expected to alleviate congestion significantly, cutting travel time by 67%. Motorists traveling from Jumeirah Street to Infinity Bridge via Al Mina Street will experience a reduction in travel time from 12 minutes to just 4 minutes, thanks to the uninterrupted traffic flow that the bridge allows without the need for stopping at traffic signals. According to the RTA, “The new bridge will ease congestion and significantly reduce travel time by 67%.”
