Dubai Health has officially launched the Community Majalis initiative, which aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ theme for 2025. This initiative aims to foster direct conversation between residents and Dubai Health teams through scheduled gatherings in various residential neighborhoods. It encourages community members to share their feedback, raise concerns, and provide suggestions, empowering them to play an active role in shaping the future of healthcare and services offered by Dubai Health.

The inaugural Community Majalis took place in Jumeirah on April 23, and future sessions will be held monthly in neighborhoods across Dubai. This approach ensures sustained engagement with diverse communities throughout the city.
Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, emphasized that the Community Majalis reflects the organization’s commitment to promoting open communication as envisioned by the leadership. He explained that meeting residents in their neighborhoods and listening to their feedback not only encourages them to share their experiences with health services but also fosters trust and transparency. This initiative is in line with the objectives of Dubai’s Social Agenda 33, which seeks to develop a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.
Additionally, Dr. Sharif noted that this initiative is part of a larger plan to enable patients and customers to actively participate in the development of healthcare services. He mentioned the recent implementation of the globally recognized ‘Press Ganey’ program, which assesses patient experience through surveys tailored to each treatment journey. This program supports strategic planning, enhances service quality, and boosts patient satisfaction.
Feedback collected during these sessions will play a crucial role in driving actionable improvements, ensuring that the services provided by Dubai Health are guided by the voices and experiences of the community it serves.
